Dealing with Division
From Series: "Letters from a Church Consultant"
The Apostle Paul could be considered the first church consultant. He spent time with individual congregations and ministered to them for a season. While there, he came alongside church leaders to provide the resources they needed to maximize their leadership and move the church from unhealthy to healthy or strong to stronger. But Paul did not become the church leader. He always left, and often sent men like Titus and Timothy to serve as coaches for the churches he was working with. Paul followed up with the coaches and by writing letters to encourage, correct, teach, equip, and strengthen the churches. Join us this summer as we look at the “Letters from a Church Consultant.” Each week we will set the context for one of Paul’s letters (who, what, when, where, why) and look at one of the major themes within the letter. We encourage you to reflect on these letters more- either on your own, in your small group, or by forming an informal group of 2 or more for the summer. For those who use social media, there will also be an opportunity to share together daily via an FPC:E Facebook Group.
