On June 5, we kick off our summer sermon series. This year, we will be studying Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia.
In his letter, the Apostle Paul calls the Church to deep and abiding faith in the liberating gospel of grace. This grace does not give us license to live recklessly, but instead invites us to experience a joyful freedom from self-reliance, human effort, and autonomy. In Jesus Christ, we have been set free to live out the gospel of Christ alone by faith alone!
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
(Galatians 5:1)
