Who Is FPC:E?
"You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste,
how shall its saltiness be restored?
It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.
You are the light of the world.
A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket,
but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before others,
so that they may see your good works and
give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
(Matthew 5:13-16)
We live in an age and a place where the values and beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ have a decreasing influence upon our culture, and the Church looks increasingly like the world around us. Over recent years, the leadership of First Presbyterian Church of Endicott (FPC:E) has been working to more clearly define who we are, Whose we are, and what we are called to do . . . so that we might be salt and light in the world.
Who We Are
FPC:E is a member congregation of ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. We ascribe to their essential tenents (found here.) Our own locally developed set of Core Beliefs can be found on our What We Believe page.
Our Mission
FPC:E exists to honor God by making more disciples for Jesus Christ.
Whose We Are
We belong wholly and completely to our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. It is only through God’s power that we are able to accomplish his will on earth.
Our Vision
“A Heart for Our Communities”
